Key use cases for implementing SlimPay
Welcome to the SlimPay Dev Center’s Guides section. Here you will find step-by-step guides that will walk you through the implementation of a range of key use cases that will have you enrolling new customers and collecting payments in no time!
In order to make the most of these guides, you should already be familiar with the topics covered in our Overview section. To brush up on these concepts, we’ve included here some brief Getting Started guides that will help you to select a suitable HTTP client to interact with the SlimPay API, obtain an access token and get connected to the API entry point.
To help get you integrating as quickly and easily as possible, we've created a 30-minute integration tutorial to guide you through the customer enrollment process using the SlimPay Checkout. This includes signing a SEPA mandate and collecting a first payment.
The SlimPay Checkout optimizes your customer’s enrollment experience through a user-friendly interface. This payment journey can be easily integrated into your own application using the SlimPay API, allowing you to seamlessly acquire new customers by capturing payment information (for direct debit or card payments). You will find guides to walk you through this implementation in the Enroll your customers section.
Once enrolled, merchants can collect direct debit and card payments without customers needing to interact with the Checkout process. Step-by-step guides on how to implement this server-to-server API call can be found in the Collect payments section.
The SlimPay API also allows merchants to manage and monitor their customer activity in order to handle payment issues, update payment methods and to process refunds. Our Monitor activity guides will assist merchants to implement these use cases.
